The "Under 60 Words" Mini-Review: This is a new feature to enable cdreviewsonline.com to review many more artists. These are really short reviews, but never negative. Any CDs I do not like, I will not review. These are CDs I've liked enough to listen to more than once. If they are recent releases from independent artists they are in black font. If they are lost obscurities from independent artists, they are in white font. If they are a classic commercially produced cd they are in blue font and if they are one of only 4-8 cds chosen each year to be in our Quarterly CD Review, they are in red font. Mini-Reviews will also often be posted on cdbaby.com and other websites. This page is on-going so check back often.
Full Quarterly Featured CD Review: These are my favorite CDs from the many I have listed in the mini-reviews. I only have time to review 4-8 cds a year for a full review. That leaves a lot of good cds out. Sorry, but please do not feel slighted. Also please do not request a full review. It makes me feel bad if I cannot accomodate you. Each Quarterly Review has its own page. A new Quarterly review will be posted about every 4 months.
Submission Policy: E-mail Rob Lincoln at lincolnsongs@aol.com to receive the address of where to send your cd for a mini-review. Please do not request a Featured Review. You will be notified if your cd is the one chosen for that quarterly distinction. You will also be notified if and when when your Mini-Review is posted. Due to the small one person staff, I can only review the following genres: acoustic singer-songwriter, melodic adult alternative rock, power-pop, 80's new wave or anything that even remotely sounds like it's from the 1960's.
